Thank you for deciding to attend the convention. Since you have a number of options for participation in this 2021 FACC, I assume you are planning to attend, right? Well then, how do we get to the convention this year? Great question! Please read on.

For those of us attending the convention from home, the “trip” to the convention will be a trip to our couch to watch as a family or it may be opening the live stream on our phones from whereever we are.

For others of us, we have made the decision to try an attend in person and if we have to, we are willing to attend from our hotel rooms (and suffer room service?). So how do we get there? Are you planning to fly? Then this page is really for you!

Ok, to be honest, I live near by and will drive to venue in my car. And for those of us driving. I will point out that the venue is near the intersection of Highway 355 and North Avenue.

But now, we will talk more about airports! We have a number of hotel options that are near the venue for your consideration. For simplicity, this page will talk about airports and their proximity to the venue.

Flying to our convention?

You will likely find that O’Hare International Airport (ORD) is the closest and most convenient option with many different airlines arriving and leaving this airport on a daily basis.

The drive from the airport is about 15 miles avoiding tolls and there are a number of car rental options (or Uber / Lyft) for your option to use.

The drive from the airport is about 32 miles avoiding tolls and there are a number of car rental options for your option to use.

The drive from this “Chicago” airport is about 70 miles with tolls. If it is not obvious, I am not really recommending this option but that’s really up to you.
